Volleyball Recap: Minooka Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Minooka and Normal Community squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Minooka had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Ironmen by a score of 2-1. If the Indians were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Ironmen when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Lauren Michaels had an outrageously good game for Normal Community as she had 20 digs and two assists. Those 20 digs gave Michaels a new career-high.

With the loss, Minooka broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 26-12. As for Normal Community, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 33-5.

Minooka does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Normal Community, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Belleville East on the 6th.
