Recap: Silver Creek Black Knights vs. Clymer Central Pirates
The Silver Creek Black Knights lost against the Clymer Central Pirates last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Silver Creek suffered a tough 50-26 defeat at the hands of Clymer Central. Silver Creek has struggled against Clymer Central recently, as their match on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Alexys Neckers continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Clymer Central, scoring 21 points along with nine steals and seven assists. Neckers is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Ava Nyweide was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with five steals.
Silver Creek now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Clymer Central, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-1.
Silver Creek will look to defend their home court on Friday against Maple Grove at 6:00 p.m. As for Clymer Central, they will head out on the road to square off against Chautauqua Lake at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
