Recap: The Noble Academy Griffins vs. Rowe-Clark Masai Lions
This season hasn't been kind to The Noble Academy Griffins, who are still winless after their seventh game. They took a 51-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of Rowe-Clark on Thursday. The Noble Academy lost against Rowe-Clark in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 43-39 score last time.
Rowe-Clark's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Arnez Jones, who scored 14 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jones has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Marcus Fossett, who scored 11 points along with three steals.
The Noble Academy's defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-7. As for Rowe-Clark, their victory bumped their record up to 1-5.
The Noble Academy will head out on the road to face off against Johnson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rowe-Clark will be home for the holidays to greet North Shore Country Day at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
