Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Sharyland walked away with it. They walked away with a 6-1 victory over the Mission Veterans Memorial Patriots on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Rattlers sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Emilio Villarreal spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on five hits and racked up six Ks.

On the hitting side, Sharyland let Santiago Soto and Nic Valdez run wild. Soto went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI, while Valdez went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.
