DuBois had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They never let the Meadville Bulldogs get on the board and left with a 16-0 victory on Tuesday. The Beavers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

DuBois got a great performance from Alex Sago as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Sago has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in 11 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Noah Farrell was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and two RBI. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. Trey Wingard was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

The win made it two in a row for DuBois and bumps their season record up to 14-7. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Meadville, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-11.

As of now, neither DuBois nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
