Softball Recap: Stevens Comes Up Short

Stevens lost to Hopkinton back in May of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cardinals lost 16-6 to the Hawks.

Stevens' defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Hopkinton, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stevens will head out to take on Newfound Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bears have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.08 runs per game on average), something the Cardinals will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Hopkinton, they are taking a road trip to square off against Hillsboro-Deering at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
