Basketball Recap: Hazard Takes a Loss

Hazard lost against Perry County Central back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Hazard Bulldogs / Lady Bulldogs opened the new year with a less-than-successful 69-62 defeat to the Perry County Central Commodores. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game back in December of 2024 (61), the Bulldogs / Lady Bulldogs still had to take the loss.

Hazard's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-3. As for Perry County Central, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-4.

Hazard will take on Jackson City at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Perry County Central, they will challenge Estill County at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday.
