Basketball Recap: North Side Takes a Loss

North Side played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 100-36 loss at the hands of the Arlington Heights Yellowjackets. The Steers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 51-7.

North Side's loss came despite strong showings from Kristopher Anderson and Trustin Holland. Anderson posted eight points and four steals, while Holland had 12 points and three steals. That's the most steals Anderson has posted since back in December of 2024.

Even though they lost, North Side was working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in three consecutive contests.

Eddie Gray continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Arlington Heights, going 6-for-9 from beyond the arc en route to 24 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Da'Marcus Jones, who went 7-for-12 to rack up 16 points and three steals.

North Side's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-20. As for Arlington Heights, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 22-12.

As of now, neither North Side nor Arlington Heights have any future games scheduled.
