Basketball Recap: Ardrey Kell Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Ardrey Kell extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Karly Glahn. The Ardrey Kell Knights walked away with a 65-55 victory over the Lancaster Bruins on Saturday thanks in part to Glahn, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and ten boards. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.

Lancaster's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kaylyn Hollenbeck, who posted 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kemarja Peay, who put up 13 points and six rebounds.

Ardrey Kell's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-7. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points per game. As for Lancaster, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.

Ardrey Kell has already played their next game, a 55-51 victory against South Mecklenburg on the 23rd. As for Lancaster, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Richland Northeast at 6:15 p.m. on January 28th.
