Volleyball Recap: Davenport West Comes Up Short

Davenport West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Davenport North Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Falcons of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

While Davenport West had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 20-25, 25-19, 25-18.

Davenport West's loss dropped their record down to 2-21-1. As for Davenport North, their win ended a ten-match drought at home and bumped them up to 6-22.

As of now, neither Davenport West nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
