Zane Trace waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins...and they left with three. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Paint Valley Bearcats 61-15. Given the Pioneers' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 199th, while the Bearcats are ranked 672nd), the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Brice Johnson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 185 yards and 3 scores on only 10 carries. His rushing yards production has been exceptional as that marked his eighth straight game with at least 120 yards dating back to last season. Levi Marshall was another key back, rushing for 65 yards and a pair of TDs.

Zane Trace didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Mason Hartley.

Zane Trace has now won six of their last seven games on the road. That's helped them to a 6-1 record this season. Those road wins were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 38.4 points this season. Paint Valley (0-7) has now lost seven in a row.

Zane Trace didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 48-0 victory against Westfall on the 9th. As for Paint Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 41-13 defeat against Piketon on the 9th.
