Football Game Preview: Clifton vs. Bergen Tech

If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Clifton. They will look to defend their home turf on Thursday against Bergen Tech at 7:00 PM. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.

After a string of five wins, Clifton's good fortune finally ran out last Friday. They have to be aching after a bruising 14-38 loss to Ridgewood. Clifton were down by 7-38 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Bergen Tech, and their contest last Thursday only extended their streak of losses to seven. They were completely outmatched, falling 6-42 to Sussex County Tech. Bergen Tech were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-28.

Clifton simply couldn't be stopped the last time the two teams met, as they easily beat Bergen Tech 41-6. Will Clifton repeat their success, or does Bergen Tech have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
