Make it eight blowout wins for New Bern Christian Academy this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Jacksonville Christian Academy 58-17 on the road. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 33-8.

New Bern Christian Academy was led to victory by KC Peter and Tyler Willis. Peter scored 14 points along with seven rebounds, while Willis scored 15 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Luke Puchalski, who scored four points along with six rebounds and two steals.

New Bern Christian Academy has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for Jacksonville Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New Bern Christian Academy will face off against Faith Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in North Carolina (Faith Christian Academy is ranked 425th, while New Bern Christian Academy is ranked 428th). As for Jacksonville Christian Academy, Jacksonville Christian Academy and Gramercy Christian will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 16th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Gramercy Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Friday.
