Recap: Marsing Huskies vs. Nampa Christian Trojans
Even though the Marsing Huskies have not done well against the Nampa Christian Trojans recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Marsing sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 31-28 victory over Nampa Christian. The win made it back-to-back wins for Marsing.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Marsing to victory, but perhaps none more so than Adyson Chadez, who scored 13 points. The matchup was Chadez's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Lily Thoene, who scored eight points.
Marsing pushed their record up to 4-5 with that win, which was their third straight at home. As for Nampa Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-7.
Marsing will look to defend their home court on Thursday against New Plymouth at 7:30 p.m. As for Nampa Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Vale at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Vale is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
