The Hillcrest Hawks''s game last Saturday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They strolled past Carbondale with points to spare, taking the game 22-8.
Gary Bradley was a one-man wrecking crew for Hillcrest as he rushed for 161 yards while picking up 8.1 yards per carry, and also threw for 129 yards and three touchdowns. Hillcrest also got help from Maurice Garrett who showed off his sure hands for 87 receiving yards.
Hillcrest's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Carbondale, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-3.
Hillcrest does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Carbondale also has no future games currently scheduled.
