Basketball Game Preview: Town of Webb Timberwolves vs. Frankfort-Schuyler Maroon Knights

The Town of Webb Timberwolves will square off against the Frankfort-Schuyler Maroon Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Town of Webb is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They walked away with a 70-58 win over Adirondack on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Frankfort-Schuyler waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They enjoyed a cozy 72-57 victory over the Saints. The Maroon Knights pushed the score to 66-41 by the end of the third, a deficit the Saints cut but never quite recovered from.

Frankfort-Schuyler is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.6 points per game. As for Town of Webb, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-7.

Town of Webb strolled past Frankfort-Schuyler when the teams last played back in December of 2024 by a score of 58-40. The rematch might be a little tougher for Town of Webb since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
