West Davidson's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Carson Correll, who rushed for 31 yards and a touchdown, and Mason Miller, who picked up 101 receiving yards and a touchdown. Miller got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 96 yards.

West Davidson wouldn't let Central Davidson keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force four fumbles. Evan Everhart led the group effort, picking up two of those forced fumbles all by himself. Isaiah Leonard also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing a fumble and making ten total tackles.

Meanwhile, Trinity took their match at home on Friday with ease, bagging a 54-22 victory over East Davidson. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Noah Bradley was a one-man wrecking crew for Trinity as he threw for 338 yards and six touchdowns while completing 88.9% of his passes, and also rushed for 32 yards. Trinity's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged four passes before it was all said and done. Ethan Willard led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making two total tackles and defending two passes in addition to snagging two interceptions.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Trinity was moving up and down the field and finished the game with 496 total yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as East Davidson only gained 252.

Having lost for the first time this season, West Davidson fell to 2-1. As for Trinity, they now also have a winning record of 2-1.

West Davidson came up short against Trinity when the teams last played back in September of 2023, falling 34-21.
