Soccer Recap: Connally Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Connally was not quite Robinson's equal in the second half on Friday. They fell just short of the Robinson Rockets by a score of 1-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rockets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in February.

Connally's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13-1. As for Robinson, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-5.

Coming up, Connally will be playing at home against Mexia at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Robinson, they will face off against Marlin at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
