Football Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Sacred Heart Prep + How To Watch

Despite more penalty yards than offensive yards (115 to 99), Sacred Heart Prep somehow pulled a rabbit out of their hat on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the King's Academy Knights, sneaking past 22-19. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Gators have posted since September 20, 2024.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Sacred Heart Prep's defense and their three sacks. Leading the way was Jack Hansen with 2.5. He also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with six.

The victory was the third in a row for Sacred Heart Prep, bringing their record up to 3-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 31.3 points over those games. As for King's Academy, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Coming up, Sacred Heart Prep will take on Carlmont at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for King's Academy, they will square off against Palo Alto at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
