Volleyball Recap: Tigerton Has No Trouble Against White Lake

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Marion, Tigerton was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the White Lake Lakers with a sharp 3-0 victory. That looming 3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Tigers yet this season.

Tigerton's got stronger as the match went on, holding White Lake to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-14, 25-13.

Aaliyah Lederhaus had a dynamite game, getting 19 digs, six kills, and five aces. Those five aces gave her a new career-high. Renata Nordwig was another key player, getting 15 digs and four aces.

White Lake's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Alexa Lambert, who had 14 digs and six assists, and Neveah Olson, who had 14 digs.

Tigerton now has a winning record of 4-3.

Tigerton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Northland Lutheran on the 9th. As for White Lake, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against Bowler on the 9th.
