Titus Schrecengost was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off nine hits (and not a single walk). He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Standley Lake is 3-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 7-10 otherwise. In other batting news, Dylan Lindenmayer was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two runs. He is becoming a predictor of Standley Lake's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 7-11 when he doesn't). Kyvon Ferrin also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Standley Lake kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
