Arkeel Newsome, who rushed for four touchdowns. Thanks to solid play, the senior now has 30 touchdowns for the year.
After taking the lead on an Newsome touchdown run in the first quarter, the Chargers were up 42-13 at the half.
Ansonia saw its 29-point halftime lead fall to 10 entering the fourth.
A 0-point fourth quarter was enough to cement the win for AHS, as it pushed the final margin of victory to 36.
Last season's game between the teams resulted in a 41-12 win for the Chargers.
Wolcott (4-3) goes up against Derby in a Naugatuck Valley - Brass game matchup next week, while Ansonia (7-0) locks horns with Watertown also in a Naugatuck Valley - Brass game.
