Baseball Recap: South Brunswick Comes Up Short

South Brunswick was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the St. Joseph Falcons, falling 19-2. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, with their most recent loss being a 11-1 defeat last Thursday.

South Brunswick's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for St. Joseph, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. South Brunswick will square off against rival East Brunswick at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, St. Joseph is set to challenge their familiar foe Old Bridge at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday.
