After a string of seven wins, Mogollon's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They lost 20-9 to the Bagdad Sultans. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Mustangs have suffered since May 4, 2024.

Mogollon saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rocky Porter, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3. That's the most stolen bases Porter has posted since March 4th. Parker Reidhead also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Mogollon's defeat dropped their record down to 9-2. As for Bagdad, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-1.

Coincidentally, Mogollon and Bagdad will both be playing St. David the next time they take the field. Bagdad will head out to face St. David at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, while Mogollon will play them later in the day, at 4:00 p.m.
