Brazoswood came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Fort Bend Clements Rangers, falling 3-0. The Buccaneers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

While Brazoswood was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-23, 25-19.

Alexis Sandoval paced Brazoswood's offense, picking up five kills. Sandoval were helped by Rylee Skinner and Audrey Mulholland, who contributed six assists each. Finally, Sandoval was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

Fort Bend Clements found their leader in sophomore Kina Zhang, who had nine digs and two aces.

Brazoswood now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Fort Bend Clements, their record is now an identical 3-4.

Brazoswood wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Shadow Creek on the 21st. As for Fort Bend Clements, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Crockett on the 21st.
