Basketball Recap: Lincoln Comes Up Short

Lincoln was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 61-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Marion Huskies. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cougars of the 59-41 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

They got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of Ava Mcgill and Sadie Adams, who each put up two points.

Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 8-14. As for North Marion, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season.

Lincoln wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 43-35 victory against Bridgeport on the 28th. As for North Marion, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 62-47 win against Weir on the 28th.
