Lake Center Christian is a perfect 3-0 against Central Christian since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Tiger are taking a road trip to challenge the Comets at 5:00 p.m. Lake Center Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.7 runs per game this season.

Lake Center Christian is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 26 runs on Monday, they were much more limited against Mogadore on Tuesday. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 18-1. The Tiger haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Lake Center Christian saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jillian Miller, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Lucas hit Central Christian with a five-run seventh inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Comets fell just short of the Cubs by a score of 11-9. The Comets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Micah Kozel Steiner spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered six earned (and five unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Adeline Aubrey made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two RBI and one double. Malayka Charlestin also deserves some recognition as she scored her first runs of the season.

Central Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Lake Center Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.

Everything went Lake Center Christian's way against Central Christian when the teams last played back in May of 2024, as Lake Center Christian made off with a 14-3 victory.
