Basketball Recap: Thursday's Victory Is Ada-Borup's Eighth in Last Ten Outings

Ada-Borup lost to Fertile-Beltrami back in February of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Ada-Borup Cougars walked away with a 77-70 victory over the Fertile-Beltrami Falcons. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cougars.

Ada-Borup's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Austin McCraven, who almost dropped a double-double on 23 points and nine assists. The dominant performance gave McCraven a new career-high in assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Larson, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 12 boards.

McCraven wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Ada-Borup was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in three consecutive matches.

Ada-Borup is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Fertile-Beltrami, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-4.
