Noah Solo, Springfield's leading rusher, solidified his role on Friday. Solo made a splash, rushing for 100 yards and two scores on only ten carries. He was dominant the last time he took on South Eugene back in October of 2024, so they probably should've seen this coming. Solo is becoming a predictor of Springfield's success: when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns the team is 2-1 (and 0-3 when he doesn't).

Looking ahead, Solo and Springfield will challenge Eagle Point at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The last time Solo took on the Eagles, he rushed for 77 yards and one TD, and also threw for 222 yards and one touchdown while picking up 11.1 yards per attempt.
