Volleyball Game Preview: Person Rockets vs. Franklinton Red Rams

The Person Rockets will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Franklinton Red Rams at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday.

Person is coming home looking for redemption after taking a loss in their road opener. They fell just short of Cedar Ridge by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday.

Person couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Cedar Ridge a tough time in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-17, 20-25, 28-30, 15-3.

Meanwhile, Franklinton took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Monday. They put the hurt on Northern Durham with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Franklinton was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-12, 25-20.

Person took their win against Franklinton in their previous matchup back in August of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Rockets have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Red Rams turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
