With the victory, Lumberton broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 8-9-1. As for Purnell Swett, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-10-2.

Lumberton skirted past Purnell Swett 2-1 in their previous meeting on October 6th. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pirates since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
