Basketball Recap: Woodburn Takes a Loss

After flying high against Lebanon last Friday, Woodburn came back down to earth. The Woodburn Bulldogs took a 60-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Central Panthers. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Bulldogs came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 48th, while the Panthers are ranked 138th).

Woodburn's defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Central, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-11.

Coming up, Woodburn will welcome Crescent Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Central, they will head out on the road to square off against Dallas at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
