Softball Recap: Fallston Cougars vs. C. Milton Wright Mustangs

Fallston was the 12-4 winner over C. Milton Wright when they last played one another last Friday, but their luck changed this time around. Fallston fell just short of C. Milton Wright by a score of 7-6 on Monday. The loss was the Cougars' first of the season.

Mary Pfaff put in work while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. Furthermore, she didn't allow a single earned run, the first time she has blanked an opponent since back in March of 2024. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, Alex McDougall was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3. That hit was her first of the season. Abby Marmen was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
