Football Game Preview: Jupiter Warriors vs. Dwyer Panthers

Jupiter has gone 6-1 against Dwyer recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Warriors will challenge the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Jupiter is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last six games.

Two weeks ago, Jupiter didn't have too much trouble with Suncoast as they won 22-7.

A big part of Jupiter's win came down to the chemistry between Rachael Abbass and her top target Gianna Granda. Abbass threw for 207 yards and three touchdowns while Granda picked up 124 receiving yards and a pair of scores. Those 124 receiving yards gave Granda a new career-high.

Jupiter didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Kaydince Hallas and Reese Dougherty.

Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Dwyer walked away with it. They secured a 12-6 W over the Titans on Monday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Panthers as it spelled an end to their ten-game losing streak.

Jupiter pushed their record up to 12-2 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. As for Dwyer, their victory bumped their record up to 2-13.

Jupiter beat Dwyer 12-0 when the teams last played back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
