Softball Recap: Huntington North Vikings vs. Leo Lions
Huntington North had lost eight straight at home, but on Monday they dropped their record down to 1-14 to make it nine. They lost 10-0 to the Leo Lions. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Vikings' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
As for Leo, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games.
