Clearwater waltzed into their match on Saturday with 12 straight wins... but they left with 13. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Doniphan Dons. This was a revenge game for the Fightin' Tigers: when they faced off against the Dons back in April, they had to take a 5-3 defeat.

Clearwater pushed their record up to 24-3 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games.
