Softball Recap: West Plains Victorious

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but West Plains had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They skirted past the Ysleta Indians 6-5. That's the first time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 14-4 victory on Saturday.

West Plains has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-11 record this season. As for Ysleta, with the loss, they broke their 12-game winning streak and moved their record to 21-14.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: West Plains beat the Indians by a score of 14-4 later that day.
