Volleyball Recap: Jefferson Davis County Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Jefferson Davis County duked it out with McLaurin on Thursday. The Jaguars lost 3-0 to the Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Jaguars of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-16, 25-15.

Jefferson Davis County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for McLaurin, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jefferson Davis County will take on Mendenhall at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for McLaurin, they will venture away from home to take on Morton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
