Gregory-Portland waltzed into their game on Tuesday with 14 straight wins... but they left with 15. They blew past the Alice Coyotes 15-0. Considering the Wildcats have won 17 contests by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Gregory-Portland's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those eight matchups. As for Alice, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

Looking ahead, Gregory-Portland will head out on the road to face off against Flour Bluff at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Gregory-Portland knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Flour Bluff likes a good challenge. As for Alice, they will head out to square off against King at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Alice has given up an average of 7.8 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.
