Volleyball Recap: Milton Comes Up Short

Milton lost against Pace back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Panthers lost 3-0 to the Patriots. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-7, 25-6.

Ashley Cauley paced Milton's offense, picking up three kills. Cauley were helped by Nariah Hall and Emma Messer, who contributed three assists each.

Pace's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Liv Riffell, who had eight digs and five aces. With that strong performance, Riffell is now averaging an impressive 2.1 aces per game.

Milton's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Pace, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-6.

Milton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Escambia on the 16th. As for Pace, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Tate on the 11th.
