For the third time since 2014, Mike Krzyzewski of Duke has landed high school basketball's top prospect.

Montverde Academy (Fla.) senior R.J. Barrett delivered his pledge to Coach K and the Blue Devils during a live announcement carried by TSN. A native of Canada, Barrett is regarded as the No. 1 prospect in the Class of 2018 by 247Sports.

Duke also landed 247's No. 1-rated player in 2014 (Jahlil Okafor) and 2017 (Marvin Bagley III).

The 6-foot-7 wing was named MaxPreps.com's National Sophomore of the Year in 2016-17 after putting up over 22 points and seven rebounds per game. Shortly after the season, he announced he would re-classify from the Class of 2019 to 2018.

Barrett cemented his future star status over the summer by leading Canada to the title at the FIBA U19 World Cup. He was named MVP after averaging 21.6 points, 8.3 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game.

His signature performance came in the semifinals against head coach John Calipari and the United States, going for 38 points, 13 rebounds and five assists in a 99-87 victory for Canada.

Duke also has Class of 2018 commitments from Westtown (West Chester, Pa.) small forward Cameron Reddish and Apple Valley (Minn.) point guard Tre Jones, both Top 10 prospects.
