Basketball Game Preview: Sheridan Generals vs. Northridge Vikings

The Sheridan Generals just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Northridge Vikings at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Sheridan knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Northridge likes a good challenge.

Sheridan will head out to face Northridge after giving up their first home loss of the season on Friday. 2025 welcomed Sheridan with a 78-56 loss courtesy of Licking Valley.

Meanwhile, Northridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 64-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of River View.

Sheridan's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-4. As for Northridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Sheridan was able to grind out a solid win over Northridge in their previous meeting back in February of 2018, winning 57-49. The rematch might be a little tougher for Sheridan since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
