Stuart put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's sixth consecutive shutout on Friday. They didn't even let the Coalgate Wildcats on the board, marking the Hornets' second-straight 8-0 shutout. Considering the Hornets have won 11 matches by more than seven runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Stuart is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season. As for Coalgate, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-11.
