Baseball Recap: Shaker Heights Takes a Loss

Shaker Heights fell victim to Strongsville and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs. The Red Raiders haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Shaker Heights' loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Strongsville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shaker Heights will square off against Kenston at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last three games the Bombers have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Strongsville, they will welcome Chardon at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
