After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Fleming Island, Clay was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They blew past the Providence School Stallions 7-1. Considering the Blue Devils have won eight contests by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Sadie Russo spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on four hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Amiah Carrubba was excellent, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Kaelye Rouw was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one run and one double.
