Martins Mill's win on Thursday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lex Coker, who shot 60% from the field on his way to 16 points and five rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Coker a new career-high in three-point shooting accuracy (67%). Another player making a difference was Cooper Wright, who posted ten points and six boards.

Meanwhile, Tyler HEAT was able to grind out a solid victory over Caddo Mills on Friday, taking the game 52-45.

Tyler HEAT's win bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Martins Mill, their victory bumped their record up to 11-3.

Martins Mill beat Tyler HEAT 67-57 in their previous matchup back in November of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
