Soccer Game Preview: Victoria Soto vs. Hancock

Victoria Soto hasn't had much luck against Hancock recently, but that could start to change on Friday. Wolves are taking a road trip to challenge the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Victoria Soto has four straight victories, Hancock has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

On Thursday, Victoria Soto made easy work of Muchin College Prep and carried off a 6-1 win. Ariana Chavez was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Hancock managed to keep up with Payton College Prep until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Eagles lost 3-0 to the Grizzlies.

Hancock's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Victoria Soto, their victory bumped their record up to 10-3.

Victoria Soto couldn't quite get it done against Hancock in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can Wolves avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
