Baseball Recap: Sterling's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

Sterling lost against Pueblo East back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tigers fell 6-3 to the Eagles. The loss was the Tigers' first of the season.

Robbie Carrasco was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 3-for-3. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Sterling fell to 3-1. As for Pueblo East, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-3.

Coming up, Sterling will welcome DSST: Montview at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pueblo East, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 7-4 defeat against Discovery Canyon on the 1st.
