Volleyball Recap: Pelham Victorious

Pelham posted their closest win since August 30th on Saturday. They skirted past the Brewbaker Tech Rams 2-1. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Pelham found their leader in freshman Kayla Girardin, who had nine digs and four aces. Those four aces set a new season-high mark for Girardin.

Pelham was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. They are 4-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Pelham's victory bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Brewbaker Tech, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.

Pelham didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Providence Christian on the 6th. As for Brewbaker Tech, they will face off against LAMP at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
