Basketball Recap: Vista Takes a Loss

Vista lost against La Costa Canyon back in February of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Vista Panthers fell 72-62 to the La Costa Canyon Mavericks. The Panthers' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Vista's loss dropped their record down to 10-10. As for La Costa Canyon, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 11-10.

Vista will take on Rancho Buena Vista at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for La Costa Canyon, they will challenge Torrey Pines at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Torrey Pines will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something La Costa Canyon surely won't give up without a fight.
